Please note: December 15 is the registration deadline for TDM, Written, PSE events. January 10 is the deadline for any additional test only events, project upload deadlines, and any substitutions or changes chapters may have in their submitted registration. After that date, all substitutions must go through Jeremy or Jayne.

VP of Finance

Max Yeast
Max is a Senior at Somerset High School in Pulaski County where he is a member of the Bass Fishing team, Solar Car team, Student Council, Y-Club, Academic Team, and National Honor Society. He is a proud alumnus of the Governor's Scholar Program and plans on majoring in Aviation Management when he graduates. Max also intends on earning his Master of Business Administration and a PhD in Aviation Business Administration. He hopes to own his own airline in the future. His goal for Kentucky DECA is to help better prepare every DECA student for a career in the business field. He looks forward to a fun and exciting DECA experience this year!

VP of Membership

Samantha Ledford
Samantha is a senior at Somerset High School where she is the Color Guard Captain for the Jumper Marching Band and President of NHS and Y-Club. She also participates in Student Council, National Beta Club, Superintendent’s Advisory Council, and Archery. She is an alumni of the Governor’s Scholars Program and the Hugh O’ Brian Youth Leadership Program. In the future she plans to attend the University of Kentucky and major in both Political Science and Sociology. Samantha looks forward to making this the best year for DECA and increasing membership as much as possible.

VP of Public Relations

Ryan Beam
Ryan is a Junior at Pulaski County High School where he is a member of the varsity Soccer team, FCA, Executive Council, Pep Club, and Beta Club. After high school he plans to attend college and obtain a business degree. His favorite aspect of DECA is the ability to meet amazing people from all over the nation. He’s beyond excited for another fantastic year in DECA!

Ana Muse
Ana is a junior at Pulaski County High School where she is a member of the Lady Maroons Varsity Basketball Team, President of BETA Club, an officer in her school's DECA and HOSA chapters, and serves on Pulaski’s Executive Council. After high school Ana plans to attend college to obtain a medical degree. She is excited to work with region 5 and help everyone “Get the Edge” with DECA this year!

VP of Communications

Jesse Zaragoza
Jesse is a Senior at Somerset High School in Pulaski County where he is a member of the Solar Car team, Y-Club, TSA, and the National Honor Society. After high school he plans on attending the University of Kentucky, majoring in mechanical engineering. With the combination of his engineering skills and his feel for business, Jesse plans on owning his own manufacturing business. His goal for Kentucky DECA is to push the club to new heights by setting a hardworking example for his peers to follow. Jesse looks forward to a fun and exciting DECA year!
