DECA
Please note: December 15 is the registration deadline for TDM, Written, PSE events. January 10 is the deadline for any additional test only events, project upload deadlines, and any substitution or changes chapters may have in their submitted registration. After that date, all substitutions must go through Jeremy or Jayne.

VP of Public Relations

Kyleigh Greenwell
Kyleigh attends Breckinridge County High School and is currently a sophomore. Along with DECA, she is also involved in cheerleading and FBLA. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite DECA activities have been the fall workshop and competing with her teammates.

VP of Communications

Maegan Thomas
Maegan is the VP of Communications for her Region, but also for her local chapter. She is also an active member of HOSA, FCA, and Pep club. Maegan enjoys being an active member of her church's youth group.
Meet your Region 3 President

Samantha Smith
Samantha (Sami) is a Senior at Breckinridge County High School who discovered her passion for entrepreneurship while helping her golf coach with kids' camps and working at the pro shop at the local community center. She has jumped in to DECA activities, being the Region 3 VP of Communications for the 21-22 school year and her local chapter's VP of Social Media. She will participate in the Governor's School for Entrepreneurs during the Summer of 22. Sami is a 3-year starter for the Golf team, enjoys art, and has won numerous awards for showing miniature horses. She is the youngest of triplets and the only girl among the trio! She looks forward to working with all DECA members to help them GET THE EDGE!

VP of Membership

Taylor Smith
Taylor is a Senior at Breckinridge County High School where he has been an active DECA member all 4 years. He has placed first in his events at the regional and state levels each of his 3 competitive years. Along with his duties as VP of Membership for his region, Taylor is also VP of Membership for his local chapter. This summer, Taylor participated in the Governor's School for Entrepreneurs where his team won the competition from among the 18 groups in his session. In 2021, Taylor was one of 24 from across the state who were chosen to attend the McConnell Leadership Academy.
Taylor is also a 5-year member of the marching band where he plays alto sax, a 4-year member of the Academic team, and a 6-year competitor in the 4-H Cured Ham project. He also enjoys NASCAR.
