Please note: December 15 is the registration deadline for TDM, Written, PSE events. January 10 is the deadline for any additional test only events, project upload deadlines, and any substitutions or changes chapters may have in their submitted registration. After that date, all substitutions must go through Jeremy or Jayne.

VP of Public Relations

Max Germann
Max is a Junior at Boyle County High School and has been interested in Business clubs since starting high school. He is excited to be a part of DECA and hopes to continue bringing new members to DECA and taking DECA to the Max!”

VP of Civic Consciousness

Mika Hicks
Mika is a Senior at Scott County High School. This is only her second year in DECA but after her first year she loved the environment, competitiveness, and friendships made through DECA. She is an integral part of SCHS’s track and field team. She is the team leader for Scott County’s B-Team (Student Section at Sporting Events). She also is store manager for their School Based Enterprise, Cardinal Connections. Mika plans to attend the University of Kentucky and study marketing.

Kristine Tran
Kristine is a Junior at Boyle County HIgh School where she is a member of Archery, Tennis, National Honors Society, and Y club. She is a proud alumni of Governor's School for Entrepreneurship and plans to head into the pediatric medical field where she plans to earn her CNA. Kristine aims to set the bar high for Kentucky DECA and unite unique individuals with like-minded ideas to come together. She is beyond excited to see what she can bring to DECA and how to help those around her!

Sam Harless
Sam is a Junior at Boyle County High School and he is in his third year in DECA. He has had several leadership roles in his local chapter. Outside of DECA he is involved in Y-Club, Speech and Debate, Mock Trial, and Yearbook. After Graduation he plans to attend Northern Kentucky University and major in Political Science and minor in Business Administration.

VP of Communication

Kamryn Gesin
Kamryn is a Junior at Boyle County High School and is in her second year with DECA. Outside of DECA, she is involved in BCHS National Honor Society, BCHS Y Club, BCHS Future Farmers of America, BCHS Key Club, BCHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish Club, Pep Club, HOSA, Mock Trial, Boyle County Volleyball, Boyle County Track and Field, and Insanity Volleyball Club. Kamryn highly values community service and has achieved over 380 hours of service during her high school career. After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Kentucky on a pre-med route to become a dermatologist. Kamryn is beyond excited for a great year with DECA!

VP of Finance

Katy McSweyn
Katy is a junior at Boyle County High School, and on her second year of DECA. She also has held a leadership role in her chapter DECA. She likes to participate in extracurriculars at her school, such as archery and tennis. After graduation, she plans to attend Oregon Institute of Technology and major in environmental engineering. Katy is excited to see what the future holds in store for Region 4 DECA!
