Meet the Team
AUBREY RICHARDSON | President
Aubrey Richardson is honored to serve as Region 5 President for the 2026–2027 school year. She is a Senior at Pulaski County High School, and as a fourth-year DECA member, Aubrey is dedicated to cultivating the same environment and resources that inspired her own passion for DECA. She currently serves as Executive Vice President of her local chapter and is a two-time ICDC qualifier in the Business Solutions Project and Community Awareness Project. Her prior leadership experience includes serving as Region 5 Vice President of Competitive Events and local Vice President of Community Service. Beyond DECA, Aubrey is an active member of Best Buddies, Environmental Club, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and exercising. Aubrey has always had a passion for problem-solving and creative thinking, and DECA has given her the platform to build confidence in these areas through leadership, competition, and networking. She looks forward to sharing the NEXT BIG THING that KY DECA has in store this year.

Kennedy Carillo is excited to serve Region 5 as their VP of Public Relations!
PAXTON BUTCHER | VP Membership
Paxton Butcher is the Region 5 VP of Membership for Kentucky DECA and is a sophomore at Pulaski County High School. This is his second year of DECA, and Paxton serves as the VP of History for his local chapter. In his first year in DECA, he qualified for ICDC in Principles of Hospitality and Tourism. Outside of DECA, Paxton is involved in FCA, First Priority, FFA, Varsity Soccer and Golf, Student Council, and many more. Paxton’s favorite DECA memory was attending the power trip to Washington, D.C. This year, Paxton’s goal is to grow membership and make connections that will last a lifetime!
BRAYAN RAMIREZ | VP of Finance
Brayan Ramirez is honored to serve as the Region 5 VP of Finance for the 2026-2027 school year. Brayan, a senior at Pulaski County High School, is the Chapter President and former local VP of Finance. As a fourth-year DECA member, he understands both the challenges and the exhilarating experiences that come with being a DECA member. This motivates him to ensure that every member, whether new or experienced, has the best possible DECA experience. Beyond DECA, Brayan is actively involved in various extracurricular activities. He serves as the President of Executive Council, Vice President of Best Buddies, Reporter of TSA, Social Chair of Beta Club, and enjoys participating in the discus throw for his Track and Field team. He is also passionate about school pride. When not in school, Brayan enjoys running, hiking, watching movies, and spending quality time with his loved ones. He cherishes creating memories and exploring new experiences. Brayan is excited to see who emerges as “THE NEXT BIG THING” this DECA year and eagerly anticipates meeting all of you!
LANDRY WILSON | VP of Competitive Events
Meet Landry Wilson, your 2026–2027 Region 5 Vice President of Competitive Events! Landry is a senior at Pulaski County High School and a proud fourth-year DECA member. Through her experiences in DECA, she has discovered the importance of leadership, confidence, and building connections with others. As she steps into her new regional role, Landry is excited to help create the same welcoming and inspiring environment that first sparked her love for DECA. She currently serves as her local chapter’s Vice President of Competition and is a two-time ICDC qualifier in Sports and Entertainment marketing. Her previous leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of Competition at the local level for two years. When she isn’t representing DECA, Landry stays involved in her school community through Best Buddies, Pep Club, Beta Club, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, you can find her spending time with friends and family, watching movies, or working at her local veterinary office. Landry’s passion for creative thinking and networking continues to grow through every opportunity DECA provides. Whether she is competing, leading, or connecting with new people, she strives to make a positive impact on those around her. She is looking forward to an exciting year of growth, new experiences, and opportunities for every member of Region 5. The future is calling, and Region 5 is ready to answer. Let’s make this year the NEXT BIG THING!
