REGGIE SMITH  |  President

Reggie Smith is proud to serve as your Region 5 President. He is from Somerset High School.

Blake Poynter is proud to serve as your Region 5 VP of Communications. He is from Somerset High School.

SHELBIE HARRIS  |  VP Public Relations

Shelbie Harris, the VP of Public Relations, is a Senior at Pulaski County High School and currently serves as the DECA Chapter President. Alongside her commitment to DECA, Shelbie is also actively involved in FFA, FCA, Pep Club, and Environmental Club. She is excited to serve Region 5 and looks forward to a fantastic year ahead. Shelbie is incredibly passionate about DECA, valuing the amazing memories and experiences it has brought her. It has truly been a wonderful addition to her high school journey. With that, she invites everyone to 'Be the One' and enjoy this final year with her!

BRYNLEE DUGGAR  |  VP Membership

BrynLee Dugger is proud to serve as your Region 5 VP of Membership. She is from Pulaski County High School.

PAYTON VENTERS  |  VP Finance 

Payton Venters is a junior at Pulaski County High School. Since joining DECA as a freshman, Payton has enjoyed being involved in the organization and is now serving as Region 5’s Vice President of Finance. In addition to DECA, Payton is an active member of the PCHS Beta Club, Pep Club, Environmental Club, and the varsity tennis team. Eager to meet and collaborate with others, Payton looks forward to a productive and exciting year ahead, full of new opportunities to make an impact.

EMILIA SINGLETON  | VP of Civic Consciousness 

Emelia Singleton is proud to serve as your Region 5 VP of Civic Consciousness for the 2024-2025 school year. Emelia is a Sophomore at Pulaski County High School and became very active in DECA her freshman year, even being selected to represent DECA at the capitol for Student Advocacy Day where she got to meet Governor Andy Beshear! She also currently serves as VP of Community Service at her high school. Outside of DECA, Emelia has founded the Best Buddies chapter at her school and currently sits as the chapter President. She has a passion for the inclusion of all to help bridge the social gap between students with intellectual and developmental disabilities and neurotypical students. Emelia is also very active in HOSA, BETA club, Pep Club, Environmental Club, and is the founder of Young Progressives of Pulaski County. She enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, yoga, and painting. Emelia has always been passionate about giving back to her community and DECA has helped her gain the leadership skills needed to make every venture a success. She is looking forward to serving Region 5 and can’t wait to see the growth this year will bring!
