Meet the Team
CARSON THOMPSON | President
Carson Thompson, a senior at North Hardin High School. He is proud to serve as the 2026-2027 Kentucky DECA Region 3 President. This is Carson’s third year in DECA where he has held the position of chapter president for the past two years. A two-time ICDC qualifier in Sports and Entertainment Operations Research. Outside of DECA, he holds the position of Class of 2027 President for his school. In addition to his leadership roles, Carson competes on his school's football and baseball teams. In his free time, Carson enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing pickleball, eating food, and working out. Carson looks forward to networking with members throughout his final year of DECA while building lasting memories with everyone in DECA!
HRISHI PATEL | VP Public Relations
Hrishi Patel is honored to be serving as your Region 3 Vice President of Public Relations! Now a senior at North Hardin High School and in his third year of DECA, Hrishi also serves as Executive Vice President of his chapter. His drive to serve reaches well beyond DECA: as an active member of the BAPS community, he has a heart for volunteering, whether he's helping out at community events or guiding younger students as they find their footing. When he's not serving, you can find him following Formula 1 or keeping up with his favorite sports teams. Looking ahead, he plans to pursue a career in finance and real estate, and DECA has given him the confidence and leadership skills to chase that goal. His favorite DECA memory is winning first place at SCDC in 2025, and he wants every member to have the chance to feel that same excitement. Now, Hrishi is ready to hit the ground running this year, making sure every student knows they have a place in Kentucky DECA!
ASPEN DELANEY | VP Membership
Aspen Delaney is a senior at John Hardin High School and serves as the Kentucky DECA Region 3 Vice President of Membership and Kentucky DECA Vice President of Public Relations. She is a two-time ICDC qualifier and a Top 20 international finalist in Hotel and Lodging Management. This year, Aspen hopes to help more Region 3 students find their place in DECA, get involved, and take advantage of everything the organization has to offer.
AVAMARIE ELMORE | VP Communications
AvaMarie Elmore is excited and honored to serve as a DECA Regional Officer! She is passionate about DECA and all the opportunities it provides to grow as a leader, build meaningful connections, and prepare for the future. She is looking forward to an amazing year filled with new experiences, exciting events, and unforgettable memories. AvaMarie can’t wait to meet incredible DECA members, encourage others to step outside of their comfort
MYLES DAVIS | VP Finance
Miles Davis is proud to be your Region 3 Vice President of Finance for Kentucky DECA and a Vice President of Hospitality at John Hardin High School. Myles is so excited for this year because he’s looking forward to meeting new DECA members, making new memories, and continuing to learn and grow through DECA. Myles is especially excited to represent Region 3 and help other members get involved and make the most out of their DECA experience. Outside of DECA, he plays soccer and previously played for Louisville City South, a competitive club team. Myles also enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and trying new things. He is very excited to see what this year brings and can’t wait to meet more DECA members throughout Kentucky!
CHLOE KINSER | VP Competitive Events
Chloe Kinser is proud to be serving as your 2026-2027 Region 3 VP of Competitive Events. A senior at Breckinridge County High School, she is serving as a Regional Officer for a second year. Chloe currently serves as the DECA President in Breck County, where she has been an active member since her sophomore year. Outside of DECA, Chloe is highly involved in Pep Club, Student Council, STLP, Beta Club, National Honor Society, 4-H, and FCA. She is also the equipment manager of the Fighting Tiger Varsity Football Team and a thrower on her high school track & field team. Chloe is excited for the coming year and hopes all DECA members accomplish their goals and enjoy their time in DECA.
