Meet your Region 2
VP of Communications
Hewett Lessenberry
Glasgow High School

Hewett Lessenberry, Vice President of Activities, is an involved 4.0 senior at Glasgow High School. He plays 1st court varsity doubles in tennis and is the starting center back in varsity soccer. In addition to athletics, he is also a member of Glasgow’s Academic Team (competing in Future Problem Solving) and TSA (serving as the current state President). As of now, he is still struggling to find his passion, so his future schooling and career path plans are still in the air. He hopes that by genuinely participating and leading in DECA, he will be able to narrow his potential options and create a future plan.

VP of Finance
Nina McMurtrey
Glasgow High School

Nina is the President for the Deca Club at Glasgow High School in Glasgow KY as well as the VP of Finance for Region 2. This summer, she participated in the Governor's School for Entrepreneurship where she expanded her knowledge and skills. When she's not busy in the world of business, she is either studying or playing sports. She has played varsity golf for 8 years and recently won first place in the All A State tournament.  She has also been a varsity basketball player and swimmer.

Kaitlyn Rather
Allen County - Scottsville
High School

Katelyn's hobbies and talents are singing and playing piano. She plays flute in the ACS Marching Band, is the Student Council Class Historian and is active in BETA Club, Pep Club FCA, FBLA, Black Heritage, HOSA, and the History Club. Her short-term goal is to get her ACT score high enough to apply for Gatton and eventually be a doctor. She is looking forward to a successful DECA year and finding ways to maximize her momentum.

Sarah Beth Wright
Allen County - Scottsville
High School

Sarah Beth's hobbies include working on the farm and playing basketball. She lives on a farm, raises beef cattle, and plays varsity basketball.  Besides being a member of DECA, she also participates in FCA. Pep and HOSA. She is the sophomore class president at Allen County-Scottsville High School and is looking forward to this year in DECA and maximizing her momentum.

Harleigh Grissom
Allen County - Scottsville
High School

Harleigh is a Junior at Allen County Scottsville High School where she is a cheerleader.  She has also played on the varsity softball team since the 7th grade.
